Principal - East Michigan Office

Brian Burke joined the agency in 1981 as an inside sales and customer service representative.  He then moved through various positions in outside sales.  Brian became a principal partner of Burke Agency in 1989 and serves as the General Manager of Burke Agency.  He has served on numerous “rep councils” for our manufacturers, including Delta Faucet, Charlotte Pipe, Woodford / Watco Mfg., Church Seats, and Brass Craft.  Brian is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the “Association of Independent Manufacturers Representatives (AIMR), and was recently appointed to the board of the “American Supply Association Educational Foundation.”  Brian is a graduate of Michigan State University, with a degree in Business Administration.  He has successfully completed the 3-year “Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative” (CPMR) program.

 

Principal - West Michigan Office

John Burke became an outside sales rep for Burke Agency in 1979, after working in the commercial valve industry in Texas.  John has worked in all facets of the plumbing market, including calling on distributors, industrial facilities, institutions such as hospitals and universities, the design industry, and contractors.  In 1980 John took over the Burke Agency–Grand Rapids office, and has now lived and worked in West Michigan for over 30 years.  John became a principal partner in Burke Agency in 1989 and covers all major accounts in West Michigan, and manages our sales staff in this area.  He has served on numerous “rep councils” or advisory committees for our manufacturers, including Maax Aker and Charlotte Pipe.  John is a graduate of Michigan State University, with a degree in Business Administration.
